The first issue in October of the biweekly Fortune (Chinese version) published the selecting result of 2009 "China's Most Admired Companies", in which, Haier ranked first. Since Fortune (Chinese version) and Hay Group, a global management consultancy firm, jointly launched the "China's Most Admired Companies" All-star List, Haier has been in the list for four consecutive years. The appraisal simultaneously announced the result of "China's Most Admired Companies in Different Industries", in which, Haier ranked first in electronics category.

Fortune (Chinese version) issued an article in the same journal entitled How Can the "All-round Champion" Achieve World-class", in which, Haier was commented: "The world-class companies keep innovating based on the needs of clients in order to enhance continuously the competitiveness of products and services. Haier, ranking first in "China's Most Admired Companies" All-star List in this year, has been placing high value on the innovation of products and service according to the needs of clients."
